MTV Haiti Fundraiser

What a wonderful event, for such a great cause. Had the chance to work with some of the best musicians. It was a whimsical day! I was surrounded by talented makeup artist where we all donated our time to do makeup and hair for the event that was live on networks like MTV, NBC, and ABC.

It was amazing to be apart of such an historical event. I felt blessed to be there and also privilege to be around President Bill Clinton, Sting, Shakira, Madonna, The Roots, Jennifer Hudson, and even all of the staff members of MTV.

The Haiti Fundraiser proved to be a success and showed the generosity, compassion and heart of an entire nation and also globally. I feel honored to have been apart of this accomplishment.

To achieve the soft eyes, she used a mixture of light and dark taupe on the lids. Rosy cheeks and a pale pink lip make the look perfect for a spring wedding. "This is a matte look," she says, "so no shiny colors or glosses needed."

Angel Sanchez Runway Show 2009

I recently was asked to be Key Makeup Artist to Angel Sanchez Runway Show on April 29, 2009. Thankfully I got a wonderful crew together for the show which was held at the Pierre hotel in NYC. There where 500 guest including celebrities and socialites.
The look was high fashion smokey eye with a matte pale lip; it screamed sophistication and class. Backstage was great my crew of 10 artist work fast and really met my expectation. Angel Sanchez was a delight and his team as always was a pleasure to be around.
Thank you to all the artist which helped me achieve a wonderful show.

I recently signed on to a new feature which will be aired on Music Choice on Demand.  Basically, there will be a host which will interview artist; some which are already booked include Flo Rida, Katy Perry (which is today), Rick Ross, and Ciara.  They're will be more artist booked for the future this is what I know of for the first segments.

Designers Look Books- Angel Sanchez

I recently got called to do a designers look book for Fall 09, Angel Sanchez..  Brilliant designer, I felt like his clothing had an architectural influence.  The clothing was layered with fantastic rich plums, burgundy's, deep blues and black.  Our model Elodie a model that I had worked with in the past, made each dress more desirable each time she put one on.  The makeup I did was a nude lip with pale skin and barely there eyes.  All and all, the look book became a wonderful story in my mind of a girl waiting to be transformed in to a princess.

A Wonderful Week

New work coming soon,, I recently did some testing with Caitlin Mitchell the photo attached is unedited but Ill give you guys a sneak peak..  Also, I did some Fx work with Gavin Thomas, The work maybe published in Rap Up Magazine depending on what look they choose.  Keep an eye out on my FX blog for those photos.

Allots been going on besides fashion week, I am also shooting with Gavin Thomas again for a magazine, then off to Boston with Caitlin on Thursday.  I also was hired to do Body Art for a Private party with Indelible Productions in NYC.   Very busy week ahead!
